LEGAL TIPS

.08 Standard DUI :
The .08 standard, while it looks good because it snares more people, did snarl up the regional jail system. And it didn't necessarily take the most dangerous chronic drunk drivers off the road or cut the death toll.

Marriage is an agreement between two people. Both people make promises in exchange to have the other as a spouse in their life. However, sometimes in life one spouse breaks the marriage agreement. The result of this action is sometimes a decision by the couple that it is impossible for them to continue their agreement.

An Uncontested Divorce is a legal action that is settled by a written agreement between the marital couple that ends the marriage. The written agreement is subject to Alabama law, and should be written by a licensed Alabama attorney. If the case is filed correctly, and approved, the divorce can be final approximately two months after the case is filed.

An Alabama Circuit Judge must approve of the agreement for it to be used as the terms of the marriage dissolution. Because a Circuit Judge reviews and presides over all divorce cases, Pro Se or “do it yourself” divorces have a high rejection and failure rate in Alabama, compared to those drafted by competent attorneys. Usually, a divorce is far too complicated to trust to someone that is not an attorney.

If you need to end the marriage with your spouse, an Uncontested Divorce by Richardson Law Offices, LLC may be the cheapest, easiest, and the least painful way for you to end your marriage.

DUI & Driving Under The Influence:
Montgomery DUI Lawyers:
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Attorney General Troy King has decided not to appeal a court decision that a fourth DUI conviction rises to a felony only if it occurred in a five-year period. Instead, he will ask the Legislature to toughen the drunken driving law.

Alabama DUI Law :
Unfortunately, a quirk in Alabama law - apparently unintended - now means that some drunk drivers serving time in prison on felony convictions could have those convictions reduced to misdemeanors and be released on time served.
