Alabama DUI Future :
And in what kind of absurd universe would a responsible legislative body consider, say, three DUI convictions in five years no cause for serious concern? No more than two in 10 years would seem more reasonable.

Marriage is an agreement between two people. Both people make promises in exchange to have the other as a spouse in their life. However, sometimes in life one spouse breaks the marriage agreement. The result of this action is sometimes a decision by the couple that it is impossible for them to continue their agreement.

An Uncontested Divorce is a legal action that is settled by a written agreement between the marital couple that ends the marriage. The written agreement is subject to Alabama law, and should be written by a licensed Alabama attorney. If the case is filed correctly, and approved, the divorce can be final approximately two months after the case is filed.

Prattville, Alabama

Prattville is a city located in Autauga County, Alabama and partially in Elmore County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city is 24,303. The city is the county seat of Autauga County, Alabama. It is nicknamed "The Fountain City" due to the many artesian wells in the area. The city was founded in 1839 by well-known industrialist and architect Daniel Pratt.

What is now Prattville was largely inhabited by Native Americans and a few settlers when Daniel Pratt, a native of Temple, New Hampshire, first observed the Autauga Creek in the 1830's.

Pratt purchased approximately 1000 acres from Joseph May at $21.00 an acre, and set out to build his manufacturing facilities and the town along the banks of the Autauga creek. This location was chosen because the creek could supply power to the Gin's manufacturing equiptment.

In the past 10 years, Prattville's city limits have began to expand eastward into neighboring Elmore County. While the original plan was to keep this portion of the city stricty commercial, due to the rapid increase in population, housing developments are currently being built on the Elmore County side.

Prattville is also the home of legendary singer Wilson Pickett, as well as NFL stars Roman Harper, Kevin Turner, and Zac Woodfin.

DUI & Driving Under The Influence:
Alabama DUI Views :
Alabama can't afford to look the other away at drunks who insist on getting behind the wheel. A few weeks ago in the Mobile area, a driver who was allegedly drunk struck and killed two bicyclists. Two years earlier, when he was a juvenile, the same driver killed another cyclist.

DUI Jurisdictions :
Many jurisdictions require more serious penalties (such as jail time, larger fines, longer DUI program, the installation of ignition interlock devices) in cases where the driver's BAC is over 0.20, or 0.15 in some places. These additional sanctions are an attempt to deter and punish the operation of a vehicle at extremely high BAC levels and the concomitant danger posed to the safety of persons and property by heavily impaired drivers. In many cases, the reason given for these additional sanctions is because an average person would have passed out from that much alcohol.
